Was brought into GM to assist with a reporting mechanism which after development was estimated to save the department over $400,000 a year. Stayed with GM for 10 years.
Developed a database and reporting system that reduced engineer status reporting effort up to 20 hours each month. Department savings were over $400,000. Migrated database from SQL Server to PostgreSQL
Created a business case and initial system design for a graphics database for GM’s Design Studio for driver display indicators. Conducted process analysis, risk assessment (reducing Federal liability exposure), and presented data models/UI mockups and requirements to IT for implementation.
