o Created Lean presentations and presented to team to foster Lean mindset. o Automated a manual data post processing task, saving 187 labor hours in first 6 months of use in 2007. Similar cost savings continued through 2014.

• Led the development and use of 3D CAD kinematic techniques that verified the first time fit of the assembly of the International Space Station (ISS) on orbit - participated in problem solving and issue resolution of the nine berthing interferences found that required redesign, modification, or operational workaround. Three of these would have been major on-orbit anomalies if not fixed before flight. o Contributed to Common Berthing Mechanism guide meshing flight rule.

• Stage Drawing checker (Top Assembly Drawing of ISS configuration at Space Shuttle Departure).

• After the Space Shuttle Columbia Accident, served on the Shuttle Tile Damage Assessment Team to ensure that the space shuttle thermal protection system had not been compromised by ice and foam shedding on ascent. Team lead - created CAD models from data acquired by the on-orbit scan of the tile damage with a laser scanner. Member Technical Staff 3

• Measured Space Shuttle and ISS hardware, using Digital Photogrammetry, documenting 3D position and orientation of key features for use of crew and Mission Control. Test and Verification Test Conductor - measured Space Shuttle Endeavor docking mechanism to verify it had not been damaged in testing. AWARDS/HONORS
