Position: Stores and Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with company standards.

Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications.

Obtain competitive quotations for hotel requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.

Call for quotation for any item costing more than a certain amount as per company policy and enquire into prices from various suppliers.

A minimum of three independent quotations must be obtained.

Establish Contracts to ensure reduced prices for all operations areas of the Hotel.

Receive all market list from the executive chef on a daily basis and arrange for delivery of those items daily.

Ensure that all orders receiving dates are updated by the buyers according to the suppliers promised delivery date.

Ensure that all authorized and approved orders are sent to their various respective suppliers/vendors for delivery purposes on a daily basis.

Ensure the effective operations of all purchasing Department in all aspects
