CAREER OBJECTIVE

To practice the conscientious, explicit and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients, to obtain maximum benefit from scarce resources and to work with a wide range of health professionals and other organizations.

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

Having established myself as a distinguished Assistant professor in the Department of ENT, with the leverage of vast clinical experience and academic acumen to advance in the field and treating disorders of the ears, including hearing loss, balance disorders, tinnitus, sinus and nasal diseases, allergies of the nose, smell and taste disorders. In addition, treated disorders of the throat, thyroid, oesophagus and larynx, or voice box, that involve difficulties eating swallowing and speaking. Performed Diagnostic procedures like endoscopies, testing for allergens, infections and cancers. Prescribed medications, conducting treatment regimens, explaining side effects and possible adverse reactions to keep patients informed and alert to potential issues and performed hearing tests. Also performed minor Surgeries for salivary gland stones, preauricular sinus excision, cyst and nodes excision. Additionally, performed major surgeries Myringoplasty, Tympanoplasty, tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy, thyroidectomy, septoplasty and assisted in other major surgeries- mastoidectomy, Microlaryngeal surgeries and FESS.

Have done research and publication in the field of allergic rhinitis, lymphangioma, and regeneration of tympanic membrane. And is presently the Course Coordinator of certificate course in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Completed Basic course in Medical Education (BCME) in October 2023.

Certificate course in Functional Endoscopic sinus surgery from ceMAST, Mumbai in 2020.
