I have worked in several different roles within the Ambulance Service, I currently work frontline responding to 999/111 calls from the public on emergency blue lights.
Clinical lead using exceptional communication skills and working knowledge of medical equipment
Evaluating the patient’s condition on scene and performing preliminary diagnosis/triage and treatment plans
Referring patients to appropriate agencies i.e safeguarding team, vulnerable adults/children team or own GP
Willing to keep abreast with new treatment and medical procedures through continuous training
Ability to write, submit concrete and accurate reports, give accurate handovers to staff, consultants, doctors/nurses
Ability to convoy with other agencies i.e police/ambulance vehicles, under pressure.

I have also worked with the mental health secure transport team. Patients are suffering with their mental health/not taken their medication for a long period or are a risk to themselves or the public and the police have detained them, and they have been recalled back into a secure unit, sometimes under restrain or compliant. I have used good communication skills and empathy.

I have worked in the community as an adult health care assistant and worked with learning disabilities
This involved personal care, shopping trips, housework and companionship. I also had the ability to write concrete records, handover at end of shifts to the other staff and refer the patient if needed to their GP or other relevant agencies.
