PERSONAL MISSION STATEMENT
As a seasoned government ethics specialist with a strong foundation in government regulations, my mission is to foster a culture of integrity, transparency, within the private sector environment. I aim to leverage my deep understanding of public sector ethics, conflict-of-interest policies, and regulatory frameworks to help organizations navigate complex compliance landscapes, mitigate risk, and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in business operations. I am committed to promoting ethical decision-making, regulatory compliance, and a culture of integrity across organizational environments. WORK EXPERIENCE
NIH Ethics Specialist NEO (May 2024 - Present)
• Lead the development, implementation, and management of government ethics programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and internal policies related to public sector ethics.
• Advised senior leadership, managers, and employees on ethical considerations, best practices, and legal standards in areas such as conflict-of-interest disclosures, gifts and gratuities, outside employment, and post-government employment restrictions.
• Reviewed and analyzed financial disclosure reports for high-ranking government officials including public and confidential financial disclosure reports, ensuring accurate reporting of assets, liabilities, outside income, and potential conflicts of interest in accordance with the Ethics in Government Act and other relevant statutes.
• Conducted ethics investigations in response to allegations of ethical violations, such as conflicts of interest, abuse of authority, and improper conduct, gathering facts, interviewing witnesses, and preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations for corrective actions.

Met with Martha Diaz-Ortiz, NINDS Ethics Program Director on the draft ethics website design, and Victoria Bitzer Whales, Chief Digital Communications Branch, Robert Dean, Lead Management Analyst, and Jessica Triplett, Management Analyst to coordinate the design and building of the website. Met and coordinated with the Digital Experience Team on the specific changes and content arrangement of the website.
NIH Pathways Internship, Bethesda, MD (April 2022 - June 2023)
