* Working with area managers in trim and final assembly on setting up the departments for up coming launches, tooling, manpower, new process and products.

* Setting up the trim line with the doors off concept, foot print work spaces in relationship with the cycle time for production, putting the manpower in place, setting up the training for all new jobs that are associated with the new products.

* Working with the suppliers on how new parts will come into the plant for material display, just in time deliverable and the quality level of the parts, making sure training records are in place SWI, ODS, and SOP sheets and toque information is availed.

Present presentations to upper management on launch issues, production schedules and validation process in the plant to ensure the success of the launch for model to model, provide any training need for the hourly work force on the new models.
