I started out as a closer assistant which meant I would print out all the closing packages for the closers and would then give the file to the notaries and once the files were fully executed I would scan them into the system and then send them out to the post closing department. I was then promoted in January 18, 2021 to a Escrow Closer and prepare all the closing documents for closing as well as for post-closing. I also had to assist the buyers while balancing their closing disclosures with the lenders as well as the third parties involved in the process. I would also have to inform the borrowers how much the closing costs would be then give them the wire instrunctions and after the closings would bdisburse the files once the funds were received from the lenders and the buyers I would disburse the loans and had to send out all the checks and ledger transfers and pay everyone involved with the file. Published all the executed closing documents for the buyers and would scan the files into the system then send out the files via fedex to the lenders.
