ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• April 2016 - present, as Director of Production my daily duties were: production planning, plant wide quality control and production troubleshooting, productivity assurance, and supervisors and managers’ management.
• 2010-2016, since when I started my responsibilities as StonePeak Ceramics’ plant manager, I increased the production from 3 million sq.mt. per year to 8 million per year moving to a full 24/7 production. I increased production quality of the first choice from 89% to 95%, while reducing general production cost and customer complaints.
As Plant Manager, my daily duties were: production planning, quality and productivity assurance, plant wide troubleshooting, and supervisors’ management. From 2015 to 2016, I supervised the 50 million dollars plant expansion, coordinating the engineering office and vendors contractor with the local builders, contractors, state authorities and environment agencies.
During this period, I acquired the General Contractor License with Tennessee State to be able to supervise all the equipment installation.
• 2007-2010 while working as production and laboratory manager for Graniti Fiandre, Stonepeak U.S., I was responsible for organizing and executing laboratory works and industrializing products while supervising and maximizing the production.
• 2001-2007, while working in Esmalglass, Italia, I expanded my knowledge in glaze formulation, new material developing, new industrial machinery start-up and also the production departments’ management of our customer plants.
• 1999-2001 working for Ferro Ceramics as technician for Italian customer assistance I was responsible for the production of all the products that utilize the silicone rolls technologies: Rotocolor, Laser-Roll, Creta print etc.
• 1998-1999 while employed as R&D technician at Ceramica Provenza I oversaw new product development and the production execution.
• 1994-1998 while working for Cookson Matthey (now Endeka) as foreigner customer ceramic technician for the USA and all Sud-East Asiatic markets I specialized in the design aspect of the tile, working in the graphic R&D department and completing my specialization with a training course at Studio Comastri.
