I guard entrances to events, ensuring the safety of the event and all guests. Some of my responsibilities include walking the premises and patrolling the perimeter throughout the night. I’m required to report any strange activity via walkie and earpieces to a manager. Some events require a thorough inspection of the bags that are allowed into these events. At Canes, I was mainly responsible for taking orders and providing customers with quick, high-quality customer service. I went above and beyond to make sure an order got done right and that customers were having a fun experience throughout. When I wasn't taking orders, I restocked and organized the self serve section with lids and straws as well as refilling the lemonade/sweet tea aerators. Courtyard By Marriott Bonvoy (House Aide)

At the Marriott, I was mainly the overnight worker. My responsibilities vary depending on whether it was a morning, afternoon or overnight shift. During the overnight shifts, I was primarily responsible for cleaning the guest areas, which included the public guest restrooms, the guest laundry rooms, the pool and the patio areas, as well as the lobby. I cleaned out trashes, wiped tables, making sure everything was nicely stocked for anyone, guest or employee, who would be coming into the morning. I was also in charge of washing, drying and folding any towels for the morning crew. During the daytime, I was to collect any dirty linen from the housekeepers and deliver them to the linen room. After taking linen, I was to take their trashes and deliver new towels and sets of linen. My role as house aide was crucial as it was essential to making the entire system work.Whenever I had free time, I helped set up conference/meeting rooms for companies staying that week.
