US Postal Service Office of Inspector General 01/2011 – Present Birmingham, Alabama Special Agent (retiring 8/31/25).
Conduct complex internal investigations according to OIG core principles of fraud, waste, abuse and employee misconduct. Federal criminal investigations include mail theft, bank fraud, financial crimes, claimant fraud, internal audit, injury compensation fraud, employee embezzlement, narcotics investigations, theft of government property, and internal administrative investigations. Participated in EEO and administrative arbitrations as a witness. Served as Officer Survival Instructor and Defensive Tactics Instructor training agents on a quarterly bases to ensure training standards are met. Presented numerous criminal cases to the U.S. Attorney’s Office to include mail theft cases, narcotics cases, and theft of government funds. Participated in trial prep, witness testimony and defendant proffers. Worked with numerous federal and local law enforcement agencies to coordinate criminal surveillance, search warrants and arrests.
