Providing support for all logistics related actions for Mozambique country office ensuring that all project procurements are in line with Johanniter and donor guidelines. Providing also support to partners organizations in logistics related topics and support compliance to Johanniter and donor guidelines.

Reporting lines

Receives technical advice from: Global Support Unit. Gives technical advice to: All departments of the Johanniter Country Office and Partners. Operational/ Logistics Management

Support all logistics-related actions for Mozambique Country Office (Procurement, Warehousing, Transport and Facilities) in consultation with the Logistics Coordinator and other departments.

Ensure compliance with Johanniter procurement procedures and donor guidelines and ensure all required supporting documents are available for each purchase. Prepare and submit Logistics Monthly Closing documents and reports in a timely manner. Review partner documentation and provide Logistics-related feedback and capacity building to improve processes and documentation.

Ensure general principles of procurement are followed, including transparency, price-quality ratio, non-discriminatory and ethical procurement, etc. Process procurement requests in a timely manner while ensuring completeness and accuracy through regular follow up with Program and Finance departments. 3.6 HEALTH ALLIANCE INTERNATIONL (PEPFAR Funded by USAID) As Provincial Logistics Supervisor (Sofala) February. 2010 - December 8, 2010 SUMMARY OF TASKS

Support / a Provincial Administrator in logistics, particularly in the areas of supply / purchase (Med-Lab included), transportation and stock management / inventory at the provincial level. Constitute the provincial logistics focal point in direct connection with the Districts Administrator (a), the DPS and the National Logistics Officer.

• Supervise and guide the tasks of Logistics Buyer: receipt of "RI", quotation, purchase, payment, delivery of material, collection of the invoice to the department Administration / Finance.

• Centralize and analyze the "RI" of multidisciplinary teams, provincial and DPS team to prepare the "Local Orders" and "Project Orders" following the rules defined in the HAI Guide of Purchasing and Supply. Analysis and coordinates requests for laboratory and medical equipment issued by the program managers, the leaders of multidisciplinary teams and DPS with the Provincial Assessor Lab, the Provincial Directorate and the National Directorate logistics

• Check the documentation of all purchases under the rules in force and prepare the

"Orders Project (and after authorization of his superiors, send them to the National Directorate logistics in Maputo.

• Follow the "Project Orders" with the Assistant National Coordinator and the National Logistics Coordinator Logistics.

• Inform requesting the status of "Local Shopping" and "Project Orders" (term pending delivery) and timing of shipments and receipts.

• Collect data from Logistics Transport cars Province (City and multidisciplinary teams) to fill the monthly computer "Vehicle follow-up" (fuel control) program must pass each end of the month to the National Logistics Coordinator.

• Monitor and control implementation and compliance with the rules and procedures, policy organization in terms of safety (standards and insurance), professional and personal use of the cars of the Organization, "Branding and Marking" according to the updated donor standards.

• Monitor and coordinate the transportation of equipment and miscellaneous goods ordered by multidisciplinary teams, program managers, DPS until the delivery of the material, collection and classification of required documentation.

• Identify and organize alternative transport (road, air, express, etc.) by the districts or other projects: quotation, choose the carrier, establishment of contracts in connection with the CLN.

• Analyze the costs of maintenance of vehicles; oversee the documentation of the cars as well as the tools on board.

• Follow the relations with the workshops and fuel pumps used.

• Ensure the implementation of harmonized standards in force in the Organization Manager stock at provincial level

• Supervise and monitor the inventories update at the provincial level

(Transportation, IT, furniture etc.) depending on the physical survey (2 times per year), "tracking" of equipment in accordance with rules and regulations and monthly report information to their superiors

• Ensure the update of the monitoring of stocks of materials (laboratory equipment and materials, medical, IT, office etc.) system, process in coordination with the Directorate and GSAs slaughter of the material / equipment.
