Logistics Officer and Contracting Officer 1985 - 1992 As a F/T GS-11 rank I prepared and negotiated employee training and military goods contracts with vendors. While on a two-year overseas assignment outside of D.C, I was the primary Housing and Project Officer in Alice Springs, Australia, (1989-90) where I negotiated government housing lease contracts, provided input for new home construction, managed home repair and landscape service crews for 200 homes. POC for housing office supervisors, with a staff of 40 trades workers, sole responsibility for oversight and procurement of warehouse inventory for homes. Prepared and presented in Excel and PowerPoint. Special projects organizing shipments on C-5 aircraft to Africa, a diplomatic tour in Berlin in addition to serving as a research analyst there.
