Project Description: Order Management

Nike being a global leader in athletic footwear and apparel needed to overhaul its business processes. Legacy order management processes were manual, leading to errors and inconsistent customer, supplier, and staff experiences. The system’s existing electronic data interchange (EDI) had a low throughput rate, with manual reviews needed for over 25% of the company’s three million annual commercial orders. Being able to accept orders in multiple formats, including Excel spreadsheets, would go a long way in eliminating costly manual reviews. The company needed end-to-end visibility to streamline and modernize how orders were captured, maintained, allocated, and delivered.

As part of the automation solution, the company incorporated a dedicated application to manage incoming orders, requiring an order validation unique to each customer prior to transferring final orders into existing systems. This Simplified and streamlined customer and employee experiences through faster order fulfillment. Increased productivity for both operations and IT. More than 99% reduction in process lead time.

Responsibilities:

Project Description: Claims Batch Recall

Health Now is leader in Specialized Health Management Services in-corporation in-normal health life insurance, monitoring devices for medium- and high –risk patients and complex case management. Their Extensive Continuum of HealthCare Services was put together to help the needs of all members. Health Now New York Inc., (which is the combination of multiple acquisitions like Blue Cross & Blue Shield) has multiple source systems that each has its own processes tied to deliver their legacy company’s products and services. The end goal of the entire project is to move data from all legacy source systems, into the new target system and deliver an integrated health delivery model for existing and future clients. The purpose of the Pega Batch Recall application is to identify claims that need to be adjusted due to eligibility updates and changes. The eligibility transactions could require claim adjustments.

Responsibilities:

Collaborated with PO to break down the requirements to user stories

Defined standards to integrate with target state systems based on the business needs

Developed nightly batch process that writes data to a flat file which is consumed by downstream systems

Project Description: Appeals & Grievances (A & G)

Healthfirst is going through transformation include business and technical. Part of Business Transformation initiative, A&G System replaces outdate and unsupported Clinical Platform (CCMS) with a new more capable platform (Pega PRPC). Clinical System provides capabilities which enables Appeals & Grievances process. A&G will be implemented in multiple phases with each phase enabling complete A&G capabilities with automation for identified Lines of Business.

List of modules involved in this assignment

CRM (Salesforce application) routes the Service Requests created via Mule soft to PEGA for only the Appeals and Grievances related service requests

Pega will create the Case and routes case to the Clerical department and displays the UI with the request Data received from CRM and the user can take necessary actions on that case.

User will decide whether this request related to Appeal or Grievances and bases on the decision the corresponding appeal and Grievances cases will be created and routed to either Clinical or Non clinical Department.

Clinical and Non-Clinical users process the Appeals and Grievances cases and take the necessary action to resolve the case.

Manager has the dashboard view to see the work assignments of the users and also can track the compliance of the cases based on the timeline.
