Rescue MapNav: Fall 2024 – Spring 2025

• Rescue MapNav is offline gps location tracking system for search and rescue that uses a local mesh network over radio to ensure an entire area has been searched.

• The system uses a mix of C++, python and custom hardware to run the navigation systems.

• This project won third place for best capstone project in ECE department out of 29 teams. Umass Robotics Club, Humanoid Team Fall 2024 – Spring 2025

• The humanoid team is in progress making an upper half of a humanoid robot torso with arms that will be controlled though a virtual reality interface.

• Part of the electrical design team, responsible for designing power distribution boards with integrated safety features and power usage monitoring.

Academic Projects

16 Bit Accumulator Circuit: Fall 2024

• Designed a 16 a bit accumulator using virtuoso in a 45nm process.

• The circuit’s function was tested and verified with LTSpice. ATiny85 based thermometer: Spring 2024

• Programmed an ATiny85 microcontroller to read and display temperature on an OLED screen

• Designed custom PCB for the project using KiCad. Memory Pager Program Spring 2024

• Wrote a program in C++ to allocate and deallocate virtual memory between multiple processes.

• Used a simulated page table register to add the virtual memory abstraction to the running process.

• The program also moved pages in and out of disk to create a swap space. Work Experience

Student Maintenance Technician, UMass Dining Commons 2021- 2025

• Worked in a team to diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical faults in industrial kitchen equipment. Activities and Interests

Eagle Scout, Troop 3 Lee Ma Summer 2020

• Organized fundraised and constructed a changing booth for the local swimming pond for my Eagle Scout project. This involved working with the town government, businesses, and the Tyringham highway department to complete the project.

Hobbies include backpacking and automotive maintenance.
