* Provided a great feeder system for the Varsity team that won 3 State District Titles

* Played in a State Regional final game against Detroit,SouthWestern Team.

Coached Varsity Boys Basketball Team - Walled Lake Western High School.-2 years

* Took over a program that had not had a winning team in some time.

* Finished fourth in league play and made it to the State District semis. First year

* Second year finished third and played for the State District finals.

Coached at Farmington Hills Harrison High School-2 years Girls Varsity Team

* Took over a failing program. The girls had not won game in 4 years Won 2 my first year.

^ lost a few games by 3 or less points.

* Second year won our first State District game in a decade !

* Bill McCartney - I played football and basketball for coach McCartney. Holy Redeemer H.S.

Bill accepted a coaching position to coach at Dearborn Divine Child - Football and Basketball !

Bill won both Football and Basketball Championships in the same year -1973

^Bill went on to coach Football at Universty of Michigan under Bo ! Then accepted the head

position at Colorado University. He won a College Football National Championship in 1995 !

Glen Donahue - Glen, was a terrific coach. He led Highland Park Community College Teams

to many League Titles in the NJCAA Mid-West Region Played against one of his best teams

the two years I played at Oakland Community College.. We palyed 4 times and split 2 each.

We lost to them in the Mid-West Regional,NJCAA. Tournament at Delta College. We

were rankrd # 12 in the Mid-West Region they were ranked # 1. We lost a heartbreaker in

3 overtimes by a one point ! Glen is the winningest college basketball coach in Michigan !

Tom McPhillips. Tom, was my college coach. A brillant offense and defensive strategist !

I learned so much from him. I followed his advise Tom encouraged me to get into coaching.

I follwed his advise.
