Construction Manager Relevant Experience
As an experienced Construction Manager I have assisted the V.P. Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, and/or the Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) Project Manager or Program Manager with day to day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface, field-based activities, and other duties required to execute Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects, construction management, and program management ventures.

Continuous assistance in the development of internal and external project risk reviews with the Project Management team and consult with the Legal Department as required, while coordinate and assist in the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, Subcontracting Plan, Project Staffing Plan, Organization Chart, and Procurement Plan. My Contribute to the negotiation, approval, and execution of multiple types of prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders and then successfully develop the project plan for site mobilization and demobilization and support the Senior Project Manager or Site Manager with implementation. My experience also includes the development of and coordinate the potential bidders' registration and pre- qualification efforts on behalf of the Project team, prepare request for proposal (RFP), support detailed scope of work development, bid and selection process, creation of contract documents for the purpose of subcontractor 2
and client contractor selection and award and too, support the implementation of multiple project specifications, drawing releases, and design changes, support or execute upstream/downstream contract administration, including Request for Information (RFI's), submittals, meeting minutes, change management, and claims mitigation, support project cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structures, project set-up and closeout, and field progress tracking processes, support or prepare information for and report project status, risks, schedule, costs, and cash flows at project and corporate level meetings to internal and external stakeholders, develop and distribute meeting minutes as needed, manage or support the prime contract, subcontract, client contractor, and supplier invoicing process.
Support and conduct project safety, quality, progress and financial audits and assessments as required and facilitate the materials receiving and management process including inventory control, receiving of goods, storage, and transportation. Manage and or Collaborate with Superintendents and Site Managers to verify compliance of subcontractor's client contractors contract documents, safety & health requirements, quality, and schedule and facilitate the project turnover documentation, recordkeeping/retention, warranty, and project close out processes. Assist with maintaining compliance on all project related activities by consistently applying company policies and procedures, assist with the development of project labor agreements with building trades as required, and onboarding of craft/field supervision as required. Analyze composite crew rates to determine labor and equipment costs, work with field operations/craft hr. team to appropriately staff projects, analyze and monitor labor burdens including craft classifications, benefits, and labor laws, maintain accurate craft classifications and craft progression records, assist with upholding standards of craft competency and training, estimate, forecast and manage craft install unit rates, production rates to ensure earned value, schedule, change management and ensure cost metrics are met, and assist with applicable craft training and manage construction equipment to ensure adequate inventory to complete projects. Assigned from the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Project Management Group to the Major Projects Group supporting the Elba Island LNG Project, beginning in October 2017 as construction management role for Kinder Morgan for the 10 LNG Train Module Fabrication and delivery by overseeing the Shell Oil Company SHELL/G. E. Oil and Gas Fabrication Shops at Schertz Texas and Lonestar Fabrication Shop in Baytown Texas, as well as monitoring modules in Jacksonville Florida, and delivery to Elba Island Georgia. Cost +/- 10% of $3 Billion USD overall project support in module delivery.

Senior Construction Manager Senior Construction Coordinator and Construction Manager, for Onshore Continental USA pipeline projects and Offshore West Africa Pipeline Projects.
Responsibilities included executing pipeline construction projects for reroutes in city limits, pipeline replacements, product terminal and trucking upgrades and rehabilitation to include planning, project management, construction management, inspection and coordination of contractors and inspection teams.

Alan held many positions over his 17-year career with Amoco Pipeline -Amoco Worldwide Engineering and Construction starting out in maintenance and operations as a pipeline fabricator and welder, operator, and relief pipeline manager.
Responsible for pipeline field services including 3rd party inspection (pipeline, facilities, and trades) NDE and environmental and safety inspectors and engineering support services managing pipeline construction projects through the continental USA and offshore. Alan worked on several key pipeline project for Amoco Pipeline:
Frontier Pipeline 300 miles- 16"crude oil pipeline, Anschutz Dual 12" pipelines, Big Horn Pipeline Expansion and Powder River Pipeline, and KN Energy and Bear Tooth Pipeline all in Wyoming.
Other projects included Rehabilitation and Rerouting projects; such as, the rerouting of Amoco pipeline assets and Wyco Pipeline for the new construction of the Denver International Airport and Highway modification projects in the Denver and Colorado Springs area.
Chief Inspector and Construction Coordinator of the Rocky Mountains and a leader of the Amoco Pipeline Construction and Inspection Team based out of Merrillville Indiana. While upgrading all their major pipeline assets, Alan was responsible for: intelligent pigging, hydrostatic testing, line replacement, installation of weld on sleeves and clock springs.
