Coordinates open enrollment process to insure changes with outside vendors, clinics, insurance carriers, consultants, and other parties as necessary.
Assists employees in obtaining information regarding INPRS and Hoosier start benefits.
Conducts exit interviews and collects County Property such as key cards and County identification.
Assists in reviewing job descriptions, and maintaining the County job classification system.
Completes and processes appropriate paperwork, such as OHSA forms, occupational injury survey, and processes workers' compensation claims.
Assists with safety, risk management needs, and unemployment issues, and participates in unemployment appeals and hearings.
Administers employee benefit programs, develops and/or amends programs and completes and processes necessary paperwork, and manages enrollment and terminations of benefits for eligible employees.
Reviews cost outlay for all insurance and makes recommendations of County officials, verifies insurance billings and payments of insurance claims, and contacts vendor to resolve disputes.
Plans and administers safety programs and inspections with County workers' compensation
