Project Administrative Department Manager responsible for coordinating, developing, and administering all departmental administrative policies and procedures. Responsible for all office administrative operations, managing associated overhead budgets, floor plans for all Houston Area offices, and dealing directly with vendors related office operations including office licensing and government certifications.

Oversees personnel, which includes work allocation, training and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.

Maintains staffing to effectively accomplish the organization’s goals and objectives; directs, supervises and evaluates staff.

JACOBS - February 2005 to Present Houston Home Office Safety Committee Lead

Responsible for helping to lead the efforts and activities of the Jacobs Houston Home Office Safety Committee. Organized and successfully held June Safety Month activities for up to six locations (3500 employees). Participates in Safety audits on the Project task forces. Has helped to raise safety awareness by being an avid supporter and volunteer of the Jacobs Beyond Zero safety program. Is the “go to” person for home office safety issues, training and procedures. Responsible for compiling weekly safety topics that are posted as pop-ups on all Jacobs Houston computers each morning.

JACOBS - February 2005 to 2006 Safety Program Coordinator

Safety Program Coordinator assigned to Flint Hills Alliance projects in Corpus Christ, Minneapolis, and Alaska. Responsible for Safety Promotional and Recognition Awards Program including Safety Alerts, Alliance newsletters, Recognition newsletters, safety training tracking for home office and field staff assigned to FHR Alliance projects. Scheduled craft, supervisory and mid-management training classes. Facilitated computer training and user support to all project participants.

South Texas Nuclear Generating Station

Coordinated engineering review and technical writing effort for incorporation into a Final Safety Analysis Report (over 22,000 pages) for submittal to Nuclear Regulatory Commission to acquire a Nuclear Operating License.
