As a server and bartender I was responsible for providing our customers with the best customer service possible and suggest items from our menu for them to try when unsure of what up try. I was responsible for keeping up with and maintaining a large amount of money throughout my entire shift. As a server and in all the other positions I held at Sagebrush, I learned how to be a team leader, work with others on my team to get things done, and how to read people by their facial expressions and words. As a bartender I delt with customers in a variety of situations and moods. I had to be quick on my feet at times and have good judgement about reading my quests. As bartender I was responsible for taking and getting together Togo orders and making change for other servers. I also answered the telephone and worked on a computer. As a trainer I trained new hires in all aspects of the serving job and showed them easier ways to do the things we had to do if something wasn't coming easy to someone. As key hourly I was responsible for up to 25 employees at one time. I opened or closed the store, in which if I opened, I was responsible for going to the back first thing to deposit and make change. I ordered supplies for the store, made schedules, and basically filled Amy position that may have been empty or needing help. I communicated between servers and upper management.
