Completed Thesis on The Development of an Organizational Design, which was a blueprint of a newly created Learning Institution. The thesis was later utilized as a section in a course study of Political Commerce.

ICP/ Gardner Asphalt
2014-2024
October 2022 to October 2024 – Regional Plant Manager ICP -Gardner Asphalt/Sun Coatings Tampa
-Oversight of 2 ICP facilities totaling 160 employees. Safety, quality, P&L, all KPI performance objectives.
-Operating costs equivalent to 2019 budgeted amounts. (did not increase expenditures during market fluctuations)
-Maintenance cost reductions with development of EQMS and preventative maintenance programs.
-Decrease in cost per lb and increase in lb per labor hour of $.03 and 32% respectively.
-Implementation of Continuous Improvement programs including Gemba walks, Kanban systems, OEE and constraint management.
March 2014 to 2022 – Plant Manager ICP -Gardner Asphalt Tampa
-Leading manufacturing facility in the ICP Portfolio; with regards to cost per lb, reduction in quality deviations, engagement and KPI objectives reached.
-Cost saving initiatives starting at 20K per month and reaching up to 75K in lower production times. (replacement of city waste management to rolloff strategy, material cooling via chiller, pump replacement)
-Core employee management. Ensure high skilled personnel received cross training initiatives. Within 1st year, all major departments could highly function in other key areas.
-Operating system trainer (Syspro). Ensured that all Plants ran identical processes when receiving raw materials, processing production and dispatching, as well as inventory movements and expenditures. Trained all new and existing Plant Managers, Shipping Managers etc. in this system.

2005 - 2013
November 2011 to December 2013 – Plant Manager Meadow Burke Products Tampa
-Managed one of four Meadow Burke Manufacturing Facilities in the United States. Total 35-65 Employees.
-Installed Production Scheduling Program throughout the Manufacturing Facilities in the country; which I first developed and implemented in the Hazelton PA operation.
-Created the leadership team by recruiting excellent key members; this applied to administrative, production, maintenance, and distribution.
-P&L control; budgeting, developing and execution.
-Significant improvements: Efficiency increases of 150%; TIR from 4.3 to 2.2; Physical Inventory reduction in variances and resources required; monthly reduction with additional output averaging 2,000 hours YTY.
-Created a Labor vs Demand Management process, implementing in FL, PA and TX.
2009 to November 2011: Assistant Plant Manger
-Facilitated employee driven Set-Up Reduction / Continuous Improvement projects for the Hazleton Facility with a 55% average time reduction.
-Implementation of a culture change that thrives on ownership, accountability and results.
-Developed a Scheduling System for Meadow Burke Hazleton that allows: Cost Updating based on real time data, Personalized routing per Plant, and Visibility and transparency in lineup and machine availability.
-Assist in the Implementation of a Meadow Burke CAST Program for our Hazleton Facility.
-Coach and Develop personnel in regard to White Boards, 5 Daily Fundamentals, The 7 Active Management Behaviors
