I’ve also served as a director of maintenance for retirement homes in Savannah Georgia. I was responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, project management, client relationships, and delivery.
In my work overseas, I organized and taught maintenance, compliance and service in over five countries. This work included defining and implementing security procedures and teams. The goal was to train and enable individuals to start their businesses within the construction sector. Most recently, as part of my third tour in Afghanistan, my work included the development of the construction sector in horizontal and vertical buildings. In this work, we designed and built training in vocational training schools throughout the country. We focused on the practical base skills of construction, maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and the management of small companies.
