Fuel Compliance and environmental Manager (2013 to 2018)

Sams Club Home office, I represent 12 states for fuel compliance. I work closely with associates and State regulators to keep ou7r fuel stations in compliance with State regulations and Federal laws and also work with Weights and Measures for Dispenser Calibrations compliance. Also work with Third Party suppliers for Yearly fuel site testing, dispenser calibration and Monthly DO inspections for fuel sites.

Fresh Buyer (2006 to 2013)

Fresh Category buyer for Concept Club (MAS Club) of Houston Texas

Buyer for Fresh Bakery, Produce, Deli, Café, Fresh Meat seasonal Produce and Floral Created Menus and SOP’s for café, Bakery and Tortilla Shop also worked cost sheets for Meat dept. also created layouts for Produce, fresh meat and Seafood, also with extensive product cuttings to develop new product sales.

I Replenished Fresh Deli and Deli Wall for Walmart Super Centers and NHM. Also replenished Beef and Pork Offal’s for fresh Meat operations. I worked with Category buyer in building and tracking items in our Wal-Mart Systems. Keeping track of instock and working with suppliers to make sure our PO’s were delivered weekly to our DC’s. I always maintained a high level of instock % at our Stores DC.

Sams Club Fresh Merchandiser (July 1999 to 2001)

I did extensive training and improved item assortment for my region. Also increase profit and sales in our Departments with Meat department leading the way in net profit for our region and produce coming in second in net profit, bakery in third and café in 4th. I also created playbook for our fresh departments at Sam’s Clubs.

Wal-Mart Super Center Buyer Mexico City (1997 to June 1999)

Buyer for Meat Department frozen items and imported them from the US. Also Poultry buyer covering half of the Country.

I also designed the first Susi Bar for one of our first cocktail bar. Improved Meat sales and increased truckloads of imported heat and eat items for Walmart Super Center sales.

Sams Club Laredo Texas (1992 to 1997)

Joined Sams Club as the first Meat Manager in Laredo Texas and introduced different Hispanic items and fresh Meat Cuts for the Club. I also trained as the Membership manager, Receiving Manager and Grocery manager. Learning all of these departments, helped in training new associates and worked alongside all of the associates to build a great team.
