1. Senior Project Director. April 2019 to March 2025 (6 Years)
Joint Venture Consortium of Libya (Owner and Operator)
Reporting to the Board of Management and providing management strategy for all operations in the organization and responsible for the business performance including P&L and the profitability of the consortium
Provide leadership and direction to an extensive and diversified staff in excess of 385 on energy policy decision making, and other major policies with employee strength in excess of 2000. Key member of the management team holding highly autonomous leadership position covering multiple project facilities in the oil and gas sector and engaged with contractors and customers at the highest level and work alongside the group functional leadership to ensure standards are aligned and goals are achieved.
Responsible for the expansion and modernization of the 3 main refineries (900000 BPD) 3 downstream petrochemical plants (960000 tons/year) and LNG Processing plants (4.2 million tons/year) and make them ready for the commercial operation for the production of petro products. Constructed tank farms with fixed and floating roofs including a 48 inch pipeline for 286 Km connecting the oil and gas fields to the refineries
Managed the exploration and production of 7 million cubic meters of Coal Bed Methane Gas per day and the transport of 6 million cubic meters of gas per day from the site to the Gas gathering station through pipelines for the commercial distribution to Benghazi
Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors ensuring that all defects are minimised and define roles and responsibilities to professionals, discussed issues, resolve problems and direct activities to remove bottlenecks and achieve milestones and key objectives of the consortium.
Review and implement appropriate changes in the business operations, study and execute change management within the groups business, Identify new business opportunities for the consortium, assume profit center responsibilities for the business, Monitor the consortium budgets, financial planning and revenues and provide inputs on financial matters with external financial institutions.

Constructed, commissioned and managed 48 inch cross country pipelines in excess of 3800 Kilo meters in the last 20 years
Constructed, commissioned and managed 3 tank farm projects both with fixed and floating roofs.
Reactivated the sales and marketing process of the National oil corporation which was deteriorated for the past 9 years in Libya.
Increased the profit margin of the consortium by 2.9% for the year’s march 2020 to march 2025 and established new business to a value exceeding 900 million dollars to the consortium.
As chief negotiator achieved the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Project Development Agreement (PDA) and Shareholders Agreement (SHA) for the construction of the 600 km Natural Gas Pipeline.
Submitted the Preliminary Environmental Study Report for the 640 km crude oil pipeline to the Libyan Ministry of Energy.
2. Project and Construction Director. December 2013 to November 2018. (5 Years)
Chiyoda Corporation SDN BHD. Malaysia. (EPC Contractor)
Reporting to the Managing Director and responsible for the construction and modernization of the oil refinery to accommodate 240000 barrels of oil per day, construction and management of a Petrochemical Park using downstream feed stocks from the refinery for the production of propane, polyethylene, propylene, polypropylene and other high value petrochemicals and the aromatic plant for the production of benzene, toluene, para-xylene, ortho-xylene, and ethylbenzene including construction and fabrications of storage tanks
Led the construction and management of the 6.6 million tons per annum LNG processing and liquefication plant involving the construction and installation of pumping stations and 400 km pipelines from central gas fields in Malaysia, constructing the LNG plant with roads, supporting infrastructure, a port terminal to off-load the LNG, a desalination plant to provide water, and storage facilities etc. with a total investment of 4 Billion USD.
Lead the operations and strategic direction of the company delivering an 8% cash yield to the company, optimized financial performance of existing assets through contract reviews and increased production and corresponding sales, marketing and export of oil, gas and petrochemicals in and around the Asian region. Optimized the operations and commercial aspects of LNG, oil and gas facilities and managed third party contractual relationship in the region including the day-to-day project construction activities, contract and sub-contract negotiations, scheduling and payroll.
Promoted multi-million dollar export of crude and refined oil and petro products to South East Asian countries, negotiated commercial agreements and executed commercial and financial contracts in coordination with the Company Officials.

3. Project Director. August 2009 to July 2013 (4 Years)
National Iranian Oil Company. Iran. (Owner and Operator)
Reporting to the CEO and responsible for the project management and construction related to the expansion and revamping of the Abadan Refinery for the production of additional 120000 barrels of refined oil per day and the construction and commissioning of a cogeneration power plant of capacity 80KV by gas turbine and steam generators, laying of additional crude oil pipelines 85 Km from the shore to the refinery at Abadan.
Managed the fabrication, Installation and commissioning of 9 tank farms at Ahwaz (floating roof) and 16 fixed roof tank farms at Abadan and Bandar Abbas. Constructed 140 Km pipeline connecting the tank farms with the exploration and production sites and the refineries and supervised the design, fabrication and supply of LNG tanks, oily waste water tanks and construction of two loading arms terminals at Abadan refinery by the contractors. Assessed the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage of rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, and credit terms etc.
Responsible for the construction and management of Abadan natural gas power plant 493 MW with combined cycle plant at Abadan and Ahwaz to Ray HT power transmission line for 975 Km in Iran and the construction of 4 sub stations and the distribution terminal at Ray.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and responsible for the management of the company focussing to invest, develop, build, own and operate the exploration and production process in the island of Sumatra and developing the up, mid and downstream operations which also included the production of 4 million cubic meters of Methane Gas per day with design, supply, procurement, construction, and installation, testing, mechanical completion and commissioning of the LNG plant and make it ready for the commercial operation.
Headed the construction, erection, testing and commissioning of the 350 MW gas and diesel based Thermal Power plant project at Java Island for the production of electricity for the operation of the Methanol Plant and electrification of the free trade zone covering an area of 3000 Hectares with installation, operation, testing and maintenance of switchgears, transformers, Boilers, Turbines and Generator equipments etc.
5. Senior Project Manager. April 2001 to March 2005 (4 Years)

Reporting to the Project Director and responsible for the modernization and expansion of the petroleum refinery of the National Oil Corporation at Basra and the construction and commissioning of tank farms for the storage of petrol, diesel and other hydro carbon products throughout the country and maintenance work at the refinery on a regular basis.
Accountable for the construction of a mini downstream refinery for the production of Jet Fuel, LPG, LNG and Lubricants including design, fabrication and supply of LPG tanks, crude and refined oil storage tanks, oily waste water tanks and construction of two loading arms terminals at Basra refinery and the laying of 282 Km of crude oil pipe line from the project site to the refinery at Basra.
6. Project Manager. December 1997 to November 2000 (3 Years)
Davy Group. Oman - Now Known as Jacobs (EPCM Contractor)
Reporting to the Project Director and responsible for the engineering management and the annual planning of the petrochemical complex for the production of 2.5 million tons of methanol, 400000 tons of polypropylene and 400000 tons of high density polyethylene per year using around 220 million cubic feet of natural gas (LNG) per day. The project included the EPC management of tank farms, gas gathering stations with LNG storage facilities on a 2000 Hectares of land at Salalah in Oman.
7. Project Engineer. September 1994 to August 1997 (3 Years)

Reporting to the Commercial Director and developing pricing structure, preparing tender documents and ensure the company policies and procedures are followed. Formulate tendering strategy depending upon the scope, value, type and time schedule. Select appropriate bidders list. Obtain approval for the strategy. Lead pre-tender meetings and coordinate with user, finance and legal in providing clarifications. Co-ordinate technical evaluation, conducts commercial evaluation, and obtains Bid Committee approval for award. Prepare Letter of Intents, Contracts and Change Orders.
