My hands on development experience includes but is not limited to legacy systems with in-depth knowledge of all phases of successful project completion with a full understanding of( SDLC) pertaining to analysis and planning to programming and implementation. During my career I've gained vast experience concerning business analytics and quality assurance methodologies. I have also worked strictly as a Data Solutions Architect at SSA. While on a project of Mainframe conversion to the AS/400 my role was of a Project Leader with some Programmer Manager authorities. My responsibilities, in addition to programming was managing a small team of developers, overseeing all data and relational data base builds/integrity concerns, code reviews, quality assurance and meeting project milestones and deliverables on time. My motto is that there are no problems but rather opportunities for creative and innovated solutions.

Working on a Ryder system, SMO specifically their Purchase Order process to reverse engineer it in order to gain full understanding of all stages of the process. The SMO system is mostly written in COBOL with embedded SQL, some RPG and CLP processes to be examined. While evaluating the entire process as it pertains to the job stream(CLP) I discovered an additional set(102) of programs in addition to the inventory of programs provided by the client to be analyzed and documented. Our team is tasked with producing detailed analyses in order to produce business rules of the client’s AS/400 applications that will eventually be migrated to another software system and computing platform.

Conducted AS/400 consulting sessions in order to educate an FDM Group member, a COBOL trainer who is new to the platform. My duties included programming several testing examples by creating several typical working production models that could be modified easily into many basic scenarios and or applications.
