Inventory Management Specialist

Ensured that all non-expendable property is correctly added to and properly maintained in station record accounts.

Reconciled non-expendable accounts monthly with Fiscal Service and conduct reconciliation factors as required. Responsible for processing medical releases’ of information request that pertain to the Privacy Act, the Freedom of
Information Act and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; request for information from patient’s
Medical Records for release to patient, appropriate facility, agency or physician. Processed Medical-Legal releases of

directives. Processed Social Security requests for medical information using DSS ROI software and the Social
Security Secure website.
Completed TORT cases for the VA Regional Office; this process requires extensive investigations to compile a
complete medical record. Retrieves any/all copies of medical records (other VA’s, storage, Retirement) and all
electronic media and arrange all documents in the order required by Regional Office and the Quality Assurance
Office.
