Organized an independent study and was the faculty advisor where students were given the opportunity to attend a nine-day tour across several southern states.

Attended civil rights museums, met living survivors of the movement, and explored historical sites.

Developed lesson plans where students were asked to complete daily journals about their experiences and to give presentations based on what they learned.
