Inspire Automation: Purchasing Manager January 2021 – July 2024

Responsible for procurement for three manufacturing locations providing engineered automation solutions for corriguated manufacturing. I manage a department of three employees striving to deliver components to support manufacturing and and installation schedules. Member of a project team to implement Epicor ERP System.

Rocore Holdings; A Kelvion Company – Director of Manufacturing November 2018 – May 2020

Responsible for 4 manufacturing locations servicing the machine cooling market. Key customers include Eaton, Progress Rail and Allison Transmissions. Mobilizing a combined work force of 120 to satisfy QMS requirements of ITAF-16949, ISO-9001, and M-1003. Introduced KPI’s for Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Inventory Turns.

CNH Industrial – Master Depot Manager November 2016 – January 2018

Responsible for warehousing of $180MM in inventory comprised of 400,000 SKU’s. Distribution operations included 850,000 Sq. Ft. of indoor storage and 400,000 Sq. Ft of outdoor storage. Responsible for both Domestic and Export shipments throughout the world.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLBY PIPE - Vice President of Operations November 2014 – November 2016

Responsible for manufacturing operations and customer service for two manufacturing locations located in Colorado and Oregon. Introduced KPI’s to evaluate safety, quality, inventory, and cost. Trained supervisors in 5S including the installation of shadow boards. Wrote job descriptions, institutionalized daily production meetings, GEMBA walks and standard work.

MAGNA – INNERTECH (Plant Manager – Contract Position) May 2014 – July 2014

The plant manufactured injection molded parts for the automobile industry. The facility employed 500+ people with annual revenues of $100M. My role was to separate the molding floor into three focused factories, implement training programs, re-write job descriptions, and improve preventive maintenance.

EATON CORPORATION - Plant Manager – Forest City, NC June 2011 – August 2013

The plant manufactured extruded hydraulic hose servicing automotive, industrial, and aerospace markets. Managed 130 associates, directing day-to-day activities to deliver KPI’s – Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity.

Achieved $30M in annual sales revenue, DACR = 0, TRCR ~3, DPPM less than 3, and on-time delivery greater than 98%, maintained inventory levels $1.2M, and delivered 3% productivity improvement year over year.

NIBCO Inc. - General Manager – Industrial Plastics, Charlestown, IN 2007 - 2010

Directed activities in the facility to manufacture plastic valves and fittings. Managed all aspects of the budget with P&L accountability. Responsible for safety, service, cost, quality, inventory and distribution. Managed a workforce of up to 160 associates.

Interfaced directly with customers to better understand their needs and applications.

Served as the interim plant manager of NIBCO’s copper fittings plant in Virginia.

Directed the day to day activities in the injection molding facility to manufacture plastic fittings and valves. Responsible and accountable for safety, service, cost, quality, inventory and distribution. Developed and managed all aspects of the facility budget.

Managed a workforce of up to 160 associates delivering $20M annual revenue to the company.

Utilized LEAN techniques to improve operations resulting in:

oOpened over 30,000 sq. ft. of production space for other use.
