Assisted in setting up the emergency program for GM and have received 2 awards from OnStar for the use of calls being used in radio commercials.

HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, Simcoe Composite High School
I held an 102% average in math for 2 years in a row. I took all the business courses offered in school and was recognized for my high marks by the school sending me a different business programs offered in Simoce and Brantford. I also received a Business Certificate to go along with my Diploma. I was chosen to work with Rogers as part of my English credit doing interviews, setting up interviews and learning how to tape and record live segments for TV use, because I had a very outgoing personality and can talk in front of people. I was part of the yearbook committee, newspaper committee and photograph committee. I worked in the school office answering phones and helping out with paperwork for an hour before school started and on my lunch hour for 2 years.
1993-1997
CGA, Fanshawe College
It was a 6year course that I took year-round, so I was able to do it in 4 years. I did placement as office staff at CO-OP Feeds and did all the bookkeeping and parts ordering for Master Mechanics. With all the business courses I took in high school and my grades I was told that I could be exempted from most of the courses, as they would just be a review for me, but I took them anyway.

ACTIVITIES
I have been a Big Sister, a Brownie leader and a Scouter with Scouts Canada. I was a head coach for one of my son’s Ball Hockey Teams. I have been involved with several fundraisers. When I was in high school my school sent me to several business programs on how to run businesses because I had high marks in all my business-related courses. I am also a part of the SCC committee in the school my children attend. I played baseball for 4 years. I was also a YBC bowler for 5 years and was the YBC Girls Ontario Champion for 2 years in a row and I was on the Ontario YBC Champion Team for 3 years.
