ACCOUNTING & FINANCE:

General Ledger – Full charge bookkeeping, processing and posting daily transactions, G/L account entries so as to classify them correctly at EOM. Analize and reconcile accounts, including prepaid expense and interest accruals, adjusting journal entries and reclassifications, labor-costing analyses, month-end close, bank reconciliations.

Financial Statements – Financial statement preparations following GAAP procedures, profit and loss, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, budget analysis, retained earnings statements, account analysis as well as multi- departmental reporting

Banking & Cash Management – Daily assessment and management of operating cash flows, while ensuring accuracy by verifying reporting with on-line banking reports

Budgets – Preparation of annual budgets, cost of sales analyses and revenue forecasts

Payroll – multi-departmental payroll processing for 350+ employees, 401K/Profit Sharing deferrals, wage garnishment deductions, payroll tax deposits, state and federal payroll tax return preparations and filings including DE9, DE9C, 941, 940, W2/W3, workers compensation reporting and audits, labor costing analyses

Human Resources – Proficient in all aspects of Human Resources, new employee on-boarding documentation requirements, insurance benefit administrations, performance reviews, termination requirements, exit interviews

Accounts Receivable – Customer invoicing and monthly statement generation, interest assessment and penalty calculations, customer payment deposits and postings, accounts receivable analysis and reconciliations, collection calls and customer account management and payment negotiations

Accounts Payable – Heavy processing and payment of vendor invoices, reconciliation of vendor statements, accounts payable aging analyses, year-end vendor file management and 1096/1099 filings

Sales Tax Reporting – Reconciliation and posting of sales and allowance accounts, preparation and filing of form 401 sales and use tax reporting

Fixed Assets – Acquisitions, disposals, depreciation, loan amortizations and property tax reporting

Product Inventory Reconciliations – Monitoring and recording all product inventories received and dispersed into the Accounting Software system, while also performing periodic physical inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy

Grower Accounting – Heavy processing of numerous grower production reports, payables, as well as shipping and receiving reporting

Income Tax – Initial preparation of initial C- Corporation, S- Corporation, Partnership, and LLC income tax returns, including tax projections, IRS/FTB correspondence, and capital gain and loss calculations for review by management

Year End – Ensure Payroll W-2s and Payroll related documents are processed in a timely manner, as well as the 1099 tax forms.

•Supervisorial Sills – Managed several Accounting positions to ensure that Month-End, Quarter End, and Year End duties were completed in a timely manner
