● 2023 February ~ 2025 January: General Manager (Production) for Hayleys Fabrics PLC in the textile manufacturing industry.

Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

Overseeing the company's daily operations, including managing budgets, resources, and employees.

Thermal & electrical energy consumption reduction 5% by improving machine efficiencies through effective PMRs, reducing changeover times, awareness, product range management and machine speed adjustments.

Organization optimization and restructuring (Own/Third party) at plant/quarry by process simplification, automation and digitalization with effective EXIT plan, communication & execution to improve productivity.

Collective Labor Agreement and employee engagement projects (Your Voice, HR Clinic, 50th Anniversary and long years of service appreciation) to manage employment Relations and industrial relations.

Company HR policy preparation, management of change & implementation and all administration Work Instructions review and update.

Digitalization of “Compliance Management System” for monitoring the third-party contract employees’ compliance and HR process simplification.

● Energy optimization projects:

Innovative dream run project management for 100% alternative fuel substitution (TSR) instead of coal firing and backend slag direct feeding to prove the potential of efficient energy saving CAPEX investment for future expansion of plant operation.

Coal mill operational efficiency improvement and optimization in PCW plant for reduction of Specific Electrical Energy consumption by 7 kWh/ ton coal.

The plant's housing scheme energy reduction by 20% and water consumption reduction 10% project was done in 2015 by monitoring, fixing metering, energy efficiency lighting/equipment and awareness.

ISO 50001:2001 Energy management system: Initiation, system development, baseline audit, gap closing

& system certification to the PCW plant for sustainable energy management system.

● Health & Safety Projects:

Process safety (HAZOP) implementation and FPE (Fatality Prevention Elements - 13) implementation greater than 85% before the end of 2016.

Contractors’ supervisory competency development program on the safety, compliances, and standard contractor safety management

Safety reward/recognition and safety consequence management process effective development.

Changing traditional culture to get safety accountability by senior management to the downwards to get sustainable independent safety culture.

● Quarry & Rail Transport Projects:

Outsourcing of all limestone quarry operational fleet with FMC (Full maintenance contract) for heavy vehicle fleet and development of tri-party agreement with Komatsu, DIMO and Holcim (Lanka) Limited.

New locomotive (1400 HP, diesel Hydraulic) purchasing project management - (USD 2.0 mil.).

30km length completely decayed rail track upgrade & rehabilitation phased out project management without disturbing the daily operation with all safety compliances from 2007 - 2011 (USD 4.33 mil.). OTHER SKILLS .
