WORK EXPERIENCE
Stallion Oilfield Services Victoria, Tx- Oilfield rental company. Our region rented equipment, and provided all services, needed to live and work on location.
Position - South Texas Regional Office Manager (November 3, 2003 – April 8, 2020)
In the 16+ years I was at Stallion, I touched on everything from starting as receptionist and then moving into safety, AP, AR, payroll entry, bid preparation and everything else in between. Being the most tenured employee with this company, and having expertise in all areas of back office workings, I was promoted to be our Regional Office Manager. This entailed the leading of 14+ back office staff in 7 locations within South Texas with their daily activities. I was in charge of assigning and keeping track of each employee’s job duties and then daily monitoring of their accuracies and inaccuracies of work by running daily reports and spot checking of work. I also worked with upper management, sitting in on all calls and meetings in regards to back office and operations. We worked together on budgeting, bid preparation, collection efforts etc … to ensure we were working as effectively and efficiently as possible and making sure that our DSO (days sales outstanding) numbers were as low as possible. This meant working closely with our customers, making sure that there were no billing issues, so that payments were made within terms. In addition to managing, I kept my hand in billing for a couple of our locations and also did electronic billing with some of our customers.
