Work Experience

Senior Accountant -Super A Foods (October 2021 – Present)

Compile and create daily reports for Operations Management.

Analyzed business requirements and processes using interviews, workflow analysis and document analysis.

Provide actionable insights for the Controller to share.

Analyzed company data and its performance to identify necessary changes and room for improvement.

Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly, quarterly and yearly.

Responsible for the month-end close process. (Journal entries, adjusting entries, review financials).

Prepare monthly cost rolls for the sites.

Assist Site Controller in establishing yearly labor/overhead rates.

Monitor inventory adjustments and develop the Cycle count to ensure full coverage and accuracy.

Assist in Physical inventory coordination and reconciliation to G/L annually.

Analyze, investigate and report manufacturing variances (Purchase price variance, Absorption, Inventory revaluation, overhead spending).

Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations

Assist Site Controller in preparation of CER's (Capital Expenditure Requests).

Review RMA's and process corresponding DM's and CM's for A/P and A/R.

Assist Site Controller with quarterly E&O (Excess/Obsolete) process.

Other assignments as needed.

Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst -CMA Dishmachines (February 2019 to September 2021)

Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the Controller’s attention.

Interpret data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques.

Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant -Prime Surgical Affiliates (March 2015 to August 2018)

Manage and supervise the accounting staff (delegate, train and oversee).

Oversee and utilize QuickBooks to perform daily/ monthly account reconciliations including but not limited to Outstanding Check Reports, Expense Reports, Deposit Reports, Balance Reports, etc.

Assists in the completion of the monthly close process, including journal entry preparation, preparation or review of account reconciliations, analysis and identification of significant changes in and components of account balances, and interfacing with business personnel to understand the components of account balances.

Assists with research and analysis during annual strategic planning process.
