Job profile : Reporting to Head of Fire Safety

Joined as GET – Trainees Fire Engineer and completed plant induction and understanding plant operations at Refinery.

Manning and controlling Fire departments routine administrations, shift duties of fire crew, shift manning. Provided support to the all-operating plants as and when required.

Testing and Maintenance -of Fire tenders, Foam Nursers, Hydraulic platforms, Fire Water Pumps and maintenance, commissioning of new lines, deluge valves etc. Repair and replacement of UG fire water lines, servicing of isolations, servicing Fire Hydrants, risers etc.

Design review, planning and executing new firefighting systems and modifications in existing firefighting systems as per TAC/ NFPA codes Calculating Fire Water and Foam requirements for new facilities and steady state as per TAC and NFPA done for new Aromatic project.
