Experience:
Platform Engineer United Wholesale Mortgage Apr 2024 – Present
● Developer-centric Automation & Deployment: Built C# automation workers to interact with different system’s APIs. Created workflow using these API calls to deploy containerized applications using Helm on Kubernetes pods, streamlining the deployment process. Self-service deployment action reduced MTTR from 15 minutes to 90 seconds.
● CI/CD for SaaS resources: Designed and implemented a CI/CD process to promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) changes using Terraform Enterprise. Reduced environmental drift by 100%, gave ability to roll-back to last known version, enhanced visibility into code-line changes, and increased deployment frequency drastically.
● Developed Python and Go scripts for data synchronization and large-scale administrative operations across numerous data entities. Helped to manage large-scale data (~1M+ records) with robust governance, improving data integrity and enabling consistent ingestion into IDP.
● Scalable Data & Platform Management: Created a suite of push and pull-based data workflows using Javascript in order to hit different APIs. Workflows are performant and use Azure blob storage to hold large amounts of data for tiny periods of time. Aggregates and integrates data in our entire IT ecosystem like Kubernetes, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jenkins. DevOps Engineer United Wholesale Mortgage May 2022 – Apr 2024
● Designed and optimized Jenkins CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, automating build, test and deployment processes. Integrated commit-based event triggers into build pipelines to enable responsive and automated deployments.
● Gained hands-on experience with Kubernetes, deploying and managing containerized C# applications in production. Used Dynatrace extensively for monitoring performance and diagnosing production issues across services.
● Developed and optimized DevOps automation workflows using Orkes interacting with Octopus deploy using a C# containerized application with a focus on low-coupling and re-usability.
● Diagnosed and resolved complex issues across the SDLC, troubleshooting in Git, Kubernetes, Harness, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, and other key tools. A couple key issues include fixing a development team's auto-scaling rules and increasing a team's memory and CPU values given that their pods would not start.
Dev-X Trainee United Wholesale Mortgage Jan 2022 – May 2022
● Strong C# Foundation & Hands-On Assessments: Excelled in weekly coding assessments, mastering C# fundamentals and software development principles.

Personal Projects:
● End-to-end platform engineering: Spun up GKE cluster and deployed a containerized Go application using Argo CD and GitOps practices. Built GitHub Actions workflows to automate Terraform deployments and validate infrastructure changes. Leveraged Prometheus inside GKE cluster for system monitoring and metrics collection.
