Lennar Homes NW (Portland, OR Division) Construction Scheduling Manager – August 2020 – September 2021
With my background of internalized scheduling with competitor DR Horton in past years, I was approached by my ACM and DOC at the time of the implementation of Level Scheduling being brought into our division. I was asked to head this department as I enjoy construction scheduling a great deal, and training, and the opportunity to make the overall operations within the Construction Department that much more efficient was very appealing to me. Stepping into this new position I was tasked with creating, drafting, and finalizing all currently used and circulated templates within our division (12 different templates including 2 Model Accelerated Templates). I helped implement, profess, and train all Lennar Associates needing to understand and implement Level Scheduling practices and procedures within their daily operations. Helped facilitate, create, and implement our new and improved Starts process which is currently being used today. Highly confident in my use of Buildpro, PowerBI, Excel, JDE and the overall process and procedures of Recordable Drafting and schedule movement. Highly trained in construction order of operation, critical path, and schedule adjustment. After going “Live” with Level Scheduling on November 2, 2020, our cycle time percentage as a division dropped from 16-17% at the end of our Q4 of 2021.
