I manage a Civilian Human Resources (CHR) program for a workforce that ranges between 800 and 1000 civilian employees overseeing a staff of 8-10 HR Specialists. The workforce is dispersed and includes tenant organizations/field locations. I operated as first line and second line supervisor for my organization. All controversial or high-level issues in any HR area are handled by me. I counsel leaders/supervisors on work and management policies. In addition, I am responsible for 100% accountability of our civilian workforce during building evacuations. I developed the process for ensuring a 100% accountability process could exist within the district. I provide instructions/tool to senior leaders on how/when to report the information to me. Once confirmation is received and analyzed, a report is provided to Command and Division Command for further reporting.
