Handling guest being a fast greeting and making sure everything is well enjoyed while handling the order and maintaining the time which courses arrived at the table by placing the order in the computer at approximately the right times to the guest liking after the meal is enjoyed it's important to keep the table cleaned and take away all dishes off the table that's not needed so that when the table is ready to leave the server had a fast way to clean the table for the next guests. Each server has a chore to do the whole shift where it is keeping ice filled or filling the bread in the oven. After shift sweeping or vacuuming the area which u served and wiping all things off tables down before leaving all tabs needs to be closed and pay out the bill needed by the end of the nite paying each ticket off and the rest is to take for tips.
