• Effectively assist students with understanding pantry services, clarify eligibility requirements, explaining procedures for accessing the pantry, and provide information on available resources.
• Receiving: Matching the items to the order and ensuring the quantity is correct; Confirming the condition of the items; Recording the date of receipt and any other relevant details for documentation purposes.
• Stocking: Following the appropriate storage guidelines for each type of item; Ensuring items are organized in a way that makes it easy to find and access them; Rotating stock to minimize spoilage.
• Distributing: Filling orders or requests for specific items; Moving items from the pantry to other locations; Ensuring that all items are distributed appropriately and efficiently.
• Documenting: Keeping track of the receipt and storage dates for all items; Tracking inventory levels to avoid running out of important items; Recording any issues or problems with items; Using a system for tracking inventory to keep track of items.
• Managing a small team (up to 10 employees) by handling hiring, scheduling, training, and disciplinary actions.
