• Managed the data analysis and technology integration team supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), a component of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), within its National Oncology Program (NOP). Management responsibilities included human resource allocation, training of junior staff, and the development of templates and standardization of technical processes for all technical teams in the organization. The team contributed to numerous projects of varying scale while fulfilling contractual obligations, including the following key efforts:
- Cost of Cancer Care Analysis: Developed a dashboard to analyze cancer treatment costs across VA facilities, community care, and private providers. Researched industry standards to establish baselines for treatments and medications, connecting internal and external VA data to create a comprehensive data model.
- Oncology CommUnity Platform: Created a critical communication platform for VA oncology staff nationwide by integrating employee data sources, filtering relevant individuals from the VA Global Address List using SQL, cleansing duplicates, and integrating data into a custom Power App for effective communication.
- Executive Administration Action Tracker: Designed and executed a tracking tool for the NOP Leadership Team by integrating custom Power App, Power BI, and SharePoint elements. Enabled task creation, modification, reminders, archiving, and performance tracking in a unified interface.
- Clinical Cancer Genetics Service (CCGS): Designed and managed an interactive dashboard for CCGS’s nationwide rollout, featuring program analytics, patient information, and scheduling tools to support stakeholders from management to care providers.
- Pharmacogenomics Genetic Testing (PGx): Managed data environments for the PGx program, tracking testing KPIs and contract management.
