Provide section leadership, vision, and oversight for Technical Services to ensure the plant’s proven manufacturing practices were documented, practiced, and followed. Develop next generation leaders to enhance current capabilities and lead continuous improvement efforts. Highly focused on data-based decision making to support and drive activities to improve Loss Ratio and Virgin Output Ratio (VOR) using the DMAIC process and six sigma tools.

Lead effort to develop inflatable jam bladder system for 90 TAM and U1 TAM systems which reduced a product abnormality by 90%. Received Trade secret recognition for innovation and implementation into the manufacturing process.

Process Engineer (Corporate PED), Nashville, TN May 2015-Jan 2018

Provide manufacturing process oversight in Extrusion, Stock Prep, and Tire Assembly to keep process reliability. Develop and implemented ideas to improve processes while working with the Engineering, Maintenance, and Operation Teams to realize the benefits of the improvements. Worked to improve Loss Ratio and VOR by using DMAIC and data-based decisions.

Lead improvement activities to reduce the number three abnormality in the LaVergne facility (63’s) by 50%, saving $150K in the first year (received Black Belt certification for this project).

Worked with customers and Elmet’s sales and marketing teams to develop new products matching current capabilities while developing new manufacturing techniques and equipment to spur company growth. Senior Development Engineer, Lewiston ME 2004–2008

Analyzed, developed, and implemented process and equipment to manufacture CT imaging equipment part (molybdenum filter) that elevated Elmet's customer to the industry technology leader. Managed and supervised a staff of forty-five employees in two locations.

Co designed, built, and used fully automated medical device part manufacturing system reducing the required workforce from thirty-three people to three while elevating first pass yield from 30% to 95% ($4.6M capital project).

In nine weeks, developed the process and installed the equipment to increase processing capability from 50kg to 200kg which allowed Elmet to enter the sputtering target manufacturing market. Developed external processing suppliers while overseeing the installation and startup of internal processing equipment and manpower.
