PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

OPTIMUM SUPERVISOR

Supervisor: Managed operational activities, which included, but were not limited to, overseeing and regulating policies and employees’ performances to identify improvements. Presented spreadsheets to Senior staff on detailed reporting data, obtained monthly attestations, and prepared respective monthly and quarterly reports.

Responsible for maintaining key success metrics and identifying areas of improvement for individual technicians' scorecards. I communicated goals and ensured understanding of expectations through coaching and training. Managed the technician’s performance by conducting daily reviews of various reporting metrics and developed plans of action for under-performing technicians, administered corrective action, and discussed all pertinent performance that was impactful.

UNITED STATES NAVY:

As a United States Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman, simultaneously served in an active role as the Command’s Human Resource Officer and Directorate Leading Chief Petty Officer in the Directorate of Surgical Services, as well as the Directorate of Dental Services at Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, with 308 personnel under his charge that provided support to more than 2,800 military and civilian staff.

Directly responsible for pay, transfers, overseas screening, awards, evaluations, off-duty education programs, evaluations/appraisals, etc., as it relates to Office of Personnel Management and Department of Labor standards.

Provided strict oversight of the daily operations and management of 13 Surgical Clinics and a Dental Clinic; supervised internal manpower management and staff competencies. Effectively supervised assigned duties, monitored, and evaluated their work for accuracy and completion.

Effectively implemented new policies and directives, as well as evaluated new strategies and systems; collaborated with the Healthcare Business Office to determine staff shortages of contracted employment, which measured staffing needs; gathered/analyzed data, thereby utilizing it to plan and limit gaps in employment.
