RESPONSIBILITY.

Involved in the Fabrication of Off-shore platforms (Saudi Aramco Jackets & Decks – TP & PDMS), Jack Up Rigs, Well head platforms, oil and gas pipelines and Ship building.

Knowledge in welding processes like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW & SAW.& shop floor monitoring of welding activities, consumable selection. Weld repair analysis, Handling consumable stores. Welding Automation.and Welders qualifications,

involving exotic materials like DSS,Inconel, clad, Monel and Stainless steel for Corrosion resistance applications.

Weld repair analysis, Controlling repair percentage through regular tool box talks, welding supervisors mitigation trainings, experience in leading a team of welding foreman,supervisor & skilled welders, arc air gougers.

Developing the welding techniques (Manual & automatic) for piping and structural to meet the stringent quality requirements of the customer specifications and meet project set target dates.

Collecting lessons learned data from past projects and arranging mitigation training to all staff and front line teams to act proactively in similar situations. Communicating project quality requirements through mitigation training to all welding and fabrication teams.

Weld repair analysis, Controlling repair percentage through regular tool box talks, welding supervisors mitigation trainings.

Developing the welding techniques (Manual & automatic) for piping and structural to meet the stringent quality requirements of the customer specifications and meet project set target dates.

Planning and procurement of plant equipment, other welding consumables for yard development and new project.

As an Execution part – to check/ensuring correctness of the welding documents, material being used, validity of welder qualifications, applicability of the WPS utilized for the work being performed, and compliance of the WPS parameters.

Welding Safety Management :

Set safety KPI targets to all welding team on weekly basis, update short falls in weekly welding management meeting to all welding foremen and charge hands.

In conjunction with HSES and Yard Manager ensure that all aspects of welding in the yard are executed safely and in compliance with HSES responsibilities. Motivating team to find out safety violations and rectify immediately.
