This is a typical gas station. I ran a cash register, kept track of what money I made and what I borrowed from the safe, kept track of what I paid into my tills, kept up with and filed all of my paperwork, I provided great customer service every day, I kept the store clean and organized, I checked inventory in, I made sure all coffee/slushie machines were clean and well stocked, I made sure the shelves were stocked, the coolers were stocked, and that everything in the store ran as smoothly and safely as possible. Most of the time the shifts I worked I worked completely alone. I mostly worked an "evening" shift, often 4pm-12am but other shifts, too, and sometimes longer hours. I operated the store alone most evenings and I completed every function I needed throughout the day and at 12am in order to "close" the store for shift change.
McDonalds Crew Member
McDonald's-Whitesburg, KY
August 2023 to November 2023
I worked as a crew member which means I had a lot of different responsibilities depending on where the store would put me. If I worked back window, I wore a headset and I took customer orders through the drive through, and rang their order up. Then once they pulled around to pay, I would take their money and give the correct change and a receipt back.
If they had me on the second window, which was the drive through window, my responsibilities were making sure that all of the drive through orders were filled correctly, I made sure that they were in the correct order to be able to grab it and serve it out of the window, I was in charge of dropping and making the french fries when we ran out, and most importantly I made sure all of the drinks were made correctly and each one with the correct order it goes with. I also did things like make ice cream cones and mcflurrys, made frappes and iced coffees, made regular coffees, etc. Then, If they put me up front, my responsibilities were to stand up at the front register and take orders from the customers who came inside to eat. I would take their orders, ring them up and help them pay, get their food together, and serve it at their tables. Once the customers would leave, I would clean off their tables, take the trays back, wipe down the table good, and sweep under them each time. Once it was time to close, I would wipe down every table, flip up all of the chairs, clean the drink dispenser machines, take all the dishes back to be washed, sweep and mop the floors, and then take the garbage out. Then I would do the bathrooms as well. Once all of that was finished, I would help clean and close the kitchen until my shift ended.
Associate / Kitchen Associate
Double Kwik-Neon, KY
July 2019 to August 2020
I was an associate for the kitchen, but I occasionally worked shifts up front as well. There were many mornings, days, and nights that I opened/closed the entire kitchen alone. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to, cooking and preparing all of the food sold in the store, packaging food items to put out front in the cold case, keeping the cold case and coffee/slushy machines well stocked and clean, taking food orders over the phone as well as running the drive through window, opening/operating/ closing a cash register, cleaning the kitchen and all of the equipment, If I was closing I would clean the kitchen well and have everything clean, stocked, and ready to go for the morning Shift workers the next day. I made sure when cooking that every utensil was good and clean and that all of the food was cooked properly and fully. I kept track of waste Management sheets and paperwork, I also helped with customer complaints regarding the food department, and so much more. When I worked front shifts I ran the cash register, checked customers out and rang up their purchases, and I gave beyond exceptional customer service. I gained tons of experience with customer service and food management. Associate
Painted dreams marketing-Remote
February 2017 to September 2018
I worked as a recruiter/associate for an online marketing company. My job was to post advertisements for the company, and encourage as many people as I could to come and join our team. Once I got people to join, I took them through all of the steps to get them qualified and signed up, and after they were officially hired I then trained them on how to recruit more members. I also answered anh questions anyone had whether it was from a potential new member commenting on a post, or if it was one of my clients who I helped join needing advice or help on anything. It was a lot of advertising, meeting and speaking with new people from all over the world, A lot of patience and great customer service skills. Education
