Work History

As Production Manager of JG Finneran, I helped grow a small family-owned business into the corporate entity it is today.

I have worked at two molding facilities:

10 years as production manager at Comet Tool Company, Pitman NJ

22 years as production manager at JG Finneran Assoc., Vineland, NJ

Skills & abilities

I managed the in-house production and inventory control for more than 150 plastic parts used in the chromatography industry.

I managed the entire production staff that ran 24-7.

I self-processed jobs to optimize quality and production output.

I orchestrated all mold repairs and new mold fabrications.

I designed and sub-contracted the building of a class 10,000 clean room where PP microplates were produced, inspected, and packed.

I managed the maintenance of 22 injection molding machines as well as the robots, chillers, AC units, and other auxiliary equipment.

I kept the maintenance and repair records on all equipment. I determined the appropriate actions to be taken on high dollar repairs.

I sourced all raw materials used and all necessary equipment and tools

I managed all company OSHA compliance training that was performed in-house

I have the ability to influence a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging open communication and generating job enthusiasm and personal satisfaction in the workplace. I’m visible on the production floor but I’m not one to carry a coffee cup around.

I can manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion while meeting time and budget constraints.

I coordinated with sales and marketing to align production schedules with demand forecasts.

I have good mechanical ability and rely on myself to repair most mechanical issues.
