Responsible for corporate oversite of Job Corps Property and other contract administration assigned. Perform verifications to ensure basic processes are consistently performed accurately and timely.

Develop management tools and provide training to appropriate staff. Evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Center’ Property program. Ensure center compliance and/or promptly detect and resolve any issues or deficiencies.

Conduct assessments monthly, quarterly, and annually. Provide guidance on conducting inventories, reporting excess property, and reports of missing/damaged Government Property.

Research, follow-up, answer day to day questions/concerns posed by the Center’s management and Property Staff.

Schedule and conduct monitoring visits with centers to provide support and training in areas needed. Hold Center staff accountable for their individual performance in their areas of responsibility. Prepare an assessment report to document observations, findings and provide recommendations to correct any issues.

Review and approve center documents prior to submission to corporate and regional office. Effectively manage timeframes for completion of all documents/reports for National Office and DOL.

Build and nurture positive working relationships between Center and Corporate staff.

Assist colleagues with their areas during audits as needed (Food Service & Maintenance)

Maintain a real-time inventory of all items on center as well as their records and documents in accordance with DOL regulations.

Verify all incoming supplies and materials against the BOL for quantity, quality and accuracy, using Microsoft Great Plains to receive items.

Deliver material and supplies to departments.

Monitor inventory levels and submit purchase requisitions for stock as needed.

Provide training to Center staff on a quarterly basis to ensure property rules and regulations are followed. Provide training to new Custodians on Property Management.

Submit required reports to DOL to ensure our Center remains in compliance.

Maintain, track, and update records on the physical location and condition of all center property (Property of DOL), work with custodians and trades to ensure accurate inventory counts.

Assist Corporate as needed for property counts during transitions of new centers and help provide training to new hires for those centers.

Managed time keeping for staff using ADP.

Mentored our students and taught them how to be employable and establish a good work ethic during their week of Center Maintenance in property.
