Sushain led Also Energy’s Asia office, which was the world’s largest RE monitoring SaaS powerhouse, as a Managing Director and part of the 8-member CEO’s ExecuƟve Council. Sushain built the Asia team from 0 to 200+ members, establishing Engineering, Sales, Technology and a Global Capability Center (HR, Finance, Tech Support), and was instrumental in driving the CEO’s growth strategy. Sushain was part of the M&A leadership team that drove the industry’s highest value acquisiƟon of Also Energy by Stem Inc. He spent the subsequent 2+ years with Stem Inc. as Managing Director and VP, in the COO’s Leadership team.
Drove the Board’s priority initiative ‘OneCompany’ for Post-M&A operating model and common global GTM strategy to steer a USD700M acquisition to adopt a one-conglomerate mindset and future-state architecture that minimized technical debt. Drove strategic market entry plans for Japan, Vietnam, Australia, UK and the Middle East, diversifying revenue streams and achieving a 19% CAGR in global revenue. Forged strategic alliances and channel partner diversification.
