PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Fellows Coordinator, Moremi Initiative for Women’s Leadership in Africa-NYC and Accra, Ghana, 2017-2023. Reviewed applications and provided recommendations for admission to the prestigious MILEAD fellowship program, which has a new cohort annually.
Coordinated fellows' attendance at UN Commission on the Status of Women (providing assistance with visa and funding applications, being available 24-7 for questions and helping fellows settle into NYC). I have led two leadership seminars for the MILEAD program. In 2023, I planned a successful and widely attended official side event at the annual UN CSW, featuring MILEAD fellows.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Supervisor, Primary Care-2015-present. Currently at Tribeca Pediatrics (Brooklyn) and previously at Chiricahua Community Health Centers (AZ) and Sunset Park Health Council (Brooklyn). I provide pediatric primary care including well/sick visits, routine vaccinations, venipuncture and other diagnostics, minor surgical procedures, reproductive healthcare, consultations, chronic disease management, and mental health management. I set up Sunset Park’s reproductive health program and led it for 4 years. I provide direct supervision to clinical staff including formal reviews/feedback/onboarding. 10 years experience coding my own visits and meeting national bell curve benchmarks.

Designed and launched the Pediatric department at Express Medical Care including online appointment system, scheduling structure, hiring support staff, detailing billing structure, clinic feedback collection, setting up Vaccines for Children program, all inventory/ordering, and marketing.
