I am redesigning the WealthVP iOS, Android, and Web apps. Under this umbrella, I am designing the onboarding flow and user journey. WealthVP is an elite platform that caters to startup founders and investors. WealthVP is looking to integrate AI throughout its platform and tools. The experience should be smooth and not intro- duce friction.

I will design an integrated chatbot concierge (with an animated mesh gradient similar to Siri) with a dedicated space in the application to always be front and center. The AI concierge will

• Read prompts to the user and animate and highlight text being read.

• Walk founders through onboarding.

• Ensure founders are qualified to be on the platform and presented to investors.

• Assist founders in all tasks related to completing, updating, and improving their profiles, pitch decks, and team pro- files.

I will design an AI valuation calculator. I’ll implement a version of the valuation calculator that will be used as a lead magnet using Webflow. Leads will be captured by Go High Level and presented with a CTA to join WealthVP. The valuation calculator will gather information from the founder, inject the information into a prompt, send the prompt to an LLM, and display the results to the user. A scalable version of the valuation calculator will be built by the dev team and displayed on the dashboard as a premium upsell. I will design an AI pitch deck review offered as a premium upsell. The pitch deck review will review a founder’s pitch deck and make suggestions for improvement.

I will design an AI industry insights module offered as a premium upsell. The industry insights will display the latest industry news and investor activity for the industry in which a founder’s company operates. The module will gather and display the news and activity using an LLM.

I will design other modules, including

I am the senior UI / UX engineer on the e-commerce team. Hanger uses Adobe Magento e-commerce & CMS platform. I’m updating their front end to use the Magento single-page application (SPA) using React. April 2024 - September 2024 - UX Designer / UX Engineer / AI / Cybersecurity / Cyber Analytics American Express (https://www.americanexpress.com ) I am the senior UI / UX engineer on the cyber analytics team. AMEX brought me on to complete two critical applications that were already in progress. Both applications were created using Next.js version 13.4 (React) and Tailwind. The first application is called SciFi. SciFi is used to manage the process of developers creating internal applications using no-code tools.

The second application, called TPSO, is used to manage third-party relationships. While working with AMEX, I also created the design for an AI browser extension chatbot using Figma. We released version 1.0 of both products, and neither product had prior usage analytics to track. July 2023 - March 2024 - UX / UI Designer

We are upgrading an earlier version of the site and portal. NW life insurance and annuity agents use the port. UI designs are created using Figma.

All designs must be accessible to WCAG 2 / ADA standards. Designs are for internal use, but I can provide some screenshots upon request. The NWL portal included three interfaces. One interface for customer, one interface for agents, and another, more comprehensive interface for internal users.

I'm a senior UX engineer working on the new web portal's front end and full stack. I am designing using Figma and creating site components using Next.js (React), Tailwind, TypeScript, and Microsoft Azure.

All designs must be accessible to WCAG 2 / ADA standards. The site is being upgraded from an earlier version that used .NET and SQL Server. I primarily used Next.js and Tailwind to deliver approved Figma designs and a significantly improved customer and clinic experience.

October 2022 - January 2023 - Sr UX Engineer, Designer, Front-End Lead Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE - http://hpe-greenlake-root.oktapreview.com) I'm the senior UX engineer working on the front end of the Green Lake project. Green Lake allows users with on-prem servers to manage them using a central web interface. I'm working with Next.js, React, Cypress, Storybook, and Jest. I create designs using Figma and Tailwind CSS as the CSS framework.

Green Lake uses Microsoft Azure as the backend.

January 2018 – February 2023 - Senior UX Engineer, Designer GoDaddy, Scottsdale, AZ USA (https://www.godaddy.com/) From January 2018 through February 2020, I was the sole engineer on the home page growth pod. I worked daily with a team of UI designers, graphics designers, copywriters, marketing, etc. I designed and developed new experi- mental features that were tested on the home page and across the site in multiple global markets. My deliverables scaled from simple site updates, tweaks, and fixes to chatbots and machine learning. All projects must be highly performant, load under 1 second, and have no external dependencies. Due to performance con- straints, my toolset was limited to HTML5, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. In February 2020, my team was dissolved, and I became one of two lead engineers for the front-of-site team for Go- Daddy. The front-of-site team utilizes the Sitecore CMS, an ASP.NET MVC application (using C#). As a senior engi- neer, I created new and maintained existing Sitecore modules hosted on GoDaddy homepages in numerous markets. Using my prior experience as an author, mentor, trainer, and designer, I created the onboarding documentation, style guide, and design system for the front-of-site team. Recent projects include the integrated audio button used across the site, the podcast hosting site, and accessibility updates across multiple markets. Some projects utilized Tailwind CSS and Node. The POS was also comprised of an assortment of WCF ser- vices and utilized external services for credit checks, calculation of taxes, etc. January 2013 – July 2013 - Front End / Full Stack Developer, Designer Scientific Technologies Corporation, Scottsdale, AZ (http://www.stchome.com/) STC assigned me an initial project of creating an integrated solution to assist pharmacies administering vaccinations by giving them access to the state registry of patient vaccination history. The solution also integrated with a wide- spread client medical office management application and consulted a forecasting application before returning patient history and upselling options to the pharmacy making the request. The solution was based on ASP.NET Web API, C#, SQL Server 2012, and Entity Framework Code First.

I’m a primary designer and developer on this project. The initial phase of the project entails design and development of the module that manages orders of protection. MediaCom is the leading media and online advertising company for media placement in the United States. As such, they are also the primary consumer of DFA services and are able to dictate the DFA API. I was brought on board to design and develop portions of the new MediaCom advertiser client utility, Bangle. I also participated in paired pro- gramming with the leading developer at MediaCom to mentor her while developing. I primarily utilized ASP.NET MVC 3, HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, jQuery UI, jqGrid, jQuery templates, and knockout. EventsAndAdventures.com (http://www.eventsandadventures.com) I began working with EventsAndAdventures.com on a complete redesign of their current website. Events and Adven- tures is the leading singles event website but the current design is dated and lacking. EventsAndAdventures.com consists of a prospective user, publicly facing site, a member-only area, and an administrative area. I’m currently re- designing the prospect area using SQL Server 2008, C#, ASP.NET MVC 3, JQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3, etc. February 2011 – June 2011 - Front End / Full Stack Developer, Designer Equine.com, Active Interest Media (http://www.equine.com) Equine.com generates over a million dollars in revenue each year and is a classified listing site for buying and selling horses and related equipment. I started working with Equine.com in February and was hired to redesign the current website. After being hired, they decided to postpone redesign. The current site is a mess with many disparate tech- nologies used and this design produces over 100 errors per day. Source code for the current site is spread across approximately 600 projects with no documentation or comments in source code. Without the option to redesign, I’m looking at other project options.

I’ve created several utilities for Equine.com using SQL Server 2008, C#, ASP.NET MVC 3, JQuery, HTML 5, and CSS 3.

I’m applying end-to-end .NET 3.5 technologies in an Agile team environment. My focus is on creating SQL Server 2008 tables, views, and stored pro- cedures, objects and classes using C#, WCF services, LINQ compiled queries, and DotNetNuke modules. I will also be developing training materials to mentor existing mainframe developers and bring them into the .NET world. I was contacted by Adventos to be the lead architect for a complete redesign of the Maricopa County Superior Court case management system. The new system integrates and utilizes Visual Studio Team System, Team Foundation Server, Windows SharePoint Services, SQL Server 2005, ASP .NET AJAX, the .NET Framework 3.5 technologies, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, MQ Series, Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager 2007, and Active Directory. We are spending approximately 6 weeks in the initial design phase and then approximately 18 months de- signing the new system.

I was responsible for designing both the hardware and software required for the new systems. Hardware purchases for development, testing, training, production, reporting, certificate services, and disaster recovery was in excess of 1.5 million dollars. The hardware and software plan was confirmed with Microsoft. I was asked to write a white paper once the new system is designed and in production. Maricopa County is the largest county in the country and the new system will serve as a model case management system for all courts throughout the United States. The initial design phase was completed successfully but the system design and development phase was not immedi- ately pursued.

• Microsoft Silverlight for Developers (http://www.webucator.com/Net/Silverlight.cfm) February 2004 – January 2006 - Software Architect, Project Manager Evans Newton, Incorporated, Scottsdale, AZ (http://www.evansnewton.com/) I'm developing the ENI Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF)-compliant agent using .NET Windows Forms and C#. The SIF agent must:

• Pass industry compliance standards

• Operate as a Windows Service that imports and exports XML messages with other SIF compliant agents

• Operate on a one-time basis or according to multiple schedules

• Act as a proxy for the ENI TargetTeach database in both Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server formats ENI is the leading vendor of curriculum alignment software in the education industry to assist in students meeting requirements and learning objectives required by state standards and the No Child Left Behind initiative. The SIF agent is a multithreaded Windows Service that is developed around the CPSI Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF) Application Development Kit (ADK). SIF is a standard being developed in the education industry that will specify how dissimilar systems interoperate. The SIF standard is currently in version 1.1 with 1.5 distributed as a draft. The ENI SIF agent that I’m developing is utiliz- ing SIF version 1.5 since this latest version accommodates the transfer of assessment data. The SIF standard utilizes Microsoft BizTalk Server to create a specialized type of server known as a Zone Integration Server (ZIS). Computer Performance Solutions (CPSI) is the leading developer of an ADK for developing SIF agents. The CPSI ADK utilizes .NET Windows Services, queues, and Microsoft SQL Server for transferring data between systems. Developing the SIF agent presents some complexities in that the ENI SIF agent is one of the first SIF agents being developed and it is being developed against the SIF standard that is also being developed and is in flux. Furthermore, each new version of the CPSI ADK introduces complexities in that the classes and members included in the ADK change from one version to the next. Hence, code that was functioning perfectly against a previous version will not function against an updated version. I have found some issues to be addressed in the SIF standard that include nor- malization and design issues and make suggestions to the standards board. An additional complexity that is beyond my control is that there is no formal documentation provided with the SIF standard or the CPSI ADK. The SIF standard is provided in a PDF file but the associated help file is populated with blank entries that have not yet been completed. Thus, it has been difficult to accurately gauge time requirements dur- ing the life cycle of this project.

February 2004 – December 2004 - Trainer, Mentor, Developer Arizona Department of Economic Security, Phoenix, AZ (DDD, Systems & Programming) I trained and mentored the Systems & Programming developers in SQL Server, Web development, and .NET tech- nologies (focusing on Visual Basic .NET) on a weekly basis using custom curriculum. I am training all new recruits at the DDD office in SQL Server and .NET technologies using the same curriculum but will test the students there upon entry and exit. The primary focus of the DDD training will be using C#-based Web Services to access SQL Server.

The Arizona Department of Economic Security is in the process of upgrading, rewriting, and migrating hundreds of small, medium, and large scale applications from mainframe systems to ASP .NET, C#, and SQL Server 2000. I am the sole trainer and mentor for new and existing employees at DES as well as several interns and contractors. In ad- dition to my training and mentoring responsibilities, I am also a member of the development team and project leader on the vendor tracking system.

The DES departments that I’m working with received approximately $30M of funding from the state in March 2004.
