Job Title: Artisan Mechanical Fitter

Start date: September 2019

•Carry out preventative, corrective and scheduled maintenance on Pumps, Valves, Scrubbers, Intermediate Blowers, Heat Ex-changers, Gearboxes, Hydraulic and Pneumatic units, Dry and Wet Electrostatic Precipitators.

• Investigate, diagnose and perform repair of equipment and machinery according to maintenance requirements, standards and specifications.

•Carry out assembling and sub-assembly on bearing housing for 6/4 – 12/10-inch Friatec Rheinhutte Pumps, MTH 5 to 18 Lewis Pumps, Dura 35 to VF80 Verderflex Peristaltic Pumps, 4/2 Sulzer Pumps, Mechanical Seal installation and adjustments/ Packings and Gland Follower adjustments.

•Perform Cooling Tower Fan blade angle adjustments, Gearbox servicing, Prop shaft replacement, De-choke Spray Nozzles and Pump suction strainers to ensure the efficiency of the pumps and fans.

•Carry out Wet Electrostatic Precipitator Tube Bundle replacement, alignment of Electrode Rack and centering of Star Wires to Collecting Tubes.

•Servicing of Hydraulic and Pneumatic system components and replacements of Pumps, Strainers, Valves, Hoses, Seals, Filters, Regulators and Lubricator Units.
